      Verona is a Fire Mage who works as a thief for Elaina's father. When she's first introduced in EXAULTA we find her at her best-- strong, confident, and dangerous. What we don't really get to see is how she becomes who she is and how she ended up working as a thief. It is a fantastic story of betrayal, tragedy, and hope. It deserves to be told. 

           Orphaned as a baby, Verona was adopted by a wealthy lord at the age of eight. There she was raised as a lady and part of the family. When an army of wraiths wreak havoc throughout the country, cities begin to fortify. But in a whirlwind of hatred and hunger, they came and they killed. In a fight for survival, she tries to outrun the horde. Through unrelenting evil and treachery, she finds her revelation-- Vengeance.
