Demon possession has swept through Glace's neighboring kingdom, turning humans into Hellhounds. These great, fanged wolves are wild, desperate, and hungry. Only the sworn Hunters have kept them back for five long, bloody years.

Since Belle LeClair first spoke the Hunter’s Creed, countless feral hounds have died by her gun and blade. Each night, the Hunters follow her into the deadly forest, trusting Belle unconditionally with their lives. But when tragedy befalls her father’s hunting party, she races deep into the dark kingdom alone to find him. There, Belle discovers a prince thought lost, a fated curse, and dangers she never imagined possible.

Amid a backdrop of Steampunk inventions and a harsh winter landscape,
The Beast is a re-imagining of the infamous love between a beauty and a beast.

A Beauty And The Beast Retelling

The Beast (The Hunter Legends #1)
A Hunter should not love a beast.

Belle LeClair, Hunter of hellhounds, is hopelessly in love with a cursed king; a man who could take the shape of a great wolf known as the Moon-Hound. Hunter… Beast… Hopeless… How could their love survive when their basic natures are against them? Not to mention distrustful townsfolk, suicidal religious fanatics, a power-hungry lord, otherworldly beings aplenty, and—a god.

With blood gleaming on her blade, Belle must face old foes and new— even rescue Paris from a giant ice dragon— if she dares hope for a future with a king that she so desperately wants. But, ultimately, it’s not the frost seeping into Belle’s skin that will undo her. It’s the half-truths.

The Beauty is the second book in The Hunter Legends, a re-imagining of the infamous love between a beauty and a beast.

  3. Lindsay, will you be giving away ARC copies of The Beast? I'd love to have one to review on Goodreads! It sounds brilliant. I live in the UK, though, and I prefer paperbacks. If not, I'll buy one anyway when it's released. :P

(Third time lucky - having trouble commenting on my fiance's computer. Grr. )

    1. The only ARCs I'll be able to do will be digital. There will be paperbacks, but they'll be finished copies. I'm sure I'll give away some at some point, but it all depends on what I can afford there.

    2. I'd still love an ARC as an ebook! I forgot to say that. I just love paperbacks because they're purdy on the shelf.
I'm sure you've got loads of people to send ARCs to, but I thought I'd pimp myself out for one anywho. Haha.

  5. I love fairy tales and retellings and Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorites :)
When I read the sinopse I stoped at the word "steampunk"... 2 great things in one single book, I can't ask more.
In goodreads it says the release date was May 19th but I can't find it anywhere. The date was changed?
    Thank you!

    1. Yeah! I'm so excited for you to read this book! Gosh, I hope you like it. Unfortunately, there have been unexpected delays in the final phases of publication. It's killing me lol. Unless something catastrophic happens, I expect it to be out by the end of June. You can, however, buy and early e-copy and get it a week before everyone else, if you want: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-beast--4#/story

  6. Hi! I would really like your $24 pack of the early release ebooks but it's not allowing me to. Is it too late to get that or can I still get it through you? I would really, really enjoy it. Thank you!
